AT&T Internet prices and plans
AT&T Fiber speeds are worth the price
Ordering service with most companies can be difficult, and that’s especially the case with AT&T. When you go online you can order service, but what you get will depend on what is available in your city, zip code, neighborhood.
With AT&T, you never know if you’re gonna get DSL or fiber. Chances are if you don’t live in a big metro area, you’ll only have the DSL option. If you only have DSL available in your area it’s an OK option, but not great. If DSL is the only option the best AT&T deal is phone line + DSL, then ordering DirecTV. But, if Fiber Internet Service is available in your area it’s a great deal – especially when it’s bundled with TV.
If you can get fiber, go for it. If not, know that AT&T’s DSL plans can be a bit pricey compared to competitors like Spectrum and Frontier.
The best deal right now is Internet 300. Right now it’s the same rate as Internet 100 – but it has to be available in your area.
Sure, if you live in an area where Verizon Fios’s 940/880 Mbps plan is available, it starts out cheaper than AT&T Fiber. But Verizon Fios charges you $10 a month for a router, while AT&T Fiber’s router is included. So all things considered, looks like AT&T Fiber is the better deal.
AT&T TV + Internet bundles
One huge perk you’ll get with AT&T Internet is that bundling will save you a ton of money. I usually recommend Internet Service, then Satellite TV, purchased separately. But, if you have AT&T Fiber 300 bundle available – take it.
You’ll have the choice of bundling your DSL or fiber internet plan with either U-verse (AT&T’s proprietary TV service) or DIRECTV.

Who it’s best for: Do you do gaming, streaming music and movies, or share large files? This will take care of your needs. Very few home users will see a lag using with Internet 300.
AT&T is having a special deal on Internet 300 – $40 when bundled. Very difficult to beat. The bundle is generally with AT&T U-Verse TV, for a 12-month contract. Prices may vary for Internet + DirecTV.
